Senior Bishop Gene McGuire & First Lady Barbara McGuire
In the summer of 2012, Ordained Bishop Russell “Gene” McGuire and First Lady, Barbara McGuire, along with their children and families felt the call of God to birth and establish Living Faith Fellowship in Snellville, Georgia.
Bishop and First Lady have over 40+ years in ministry, which have included pastorates in New Jersey and Georgia. He has also served as a state official for a Pentecostal Denomination in the capacity of State Youth and Christian Education Director/Evangelism Director in New Jersey, Arkansas and Louisiana. Bishop and First Lady have been married for over 50+ years; have 2 children, and three grandchildren who all reside in Snellville with their families.
Our Bishop recently shared his heart:
“I believe that every person that partners with this fellowship is sent by God Himself. My endeavor is to express Christ’s love to you each week. I am excited to have the opportunity to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church. The greatest days in the history of Living Faith Fellowship lay directly ahead of us. It brings such comfort to my heart to know that the members of this body will be part of the history making events of this church.
I want to challenge you more than ever to help us by praying that God’s will and plan will be realized and manifested in the days head. Jesus said, ‘The harvest is plenteous’. This fact is undeniably true in the community we live in, therefore, let us work together to reap the harvest.
Your future at Living Faith Fellowship will present you with opportunities like never before to work for God and to help build His kingdom. Spend time daily in prayer and taking in the Word. Seek God for His will in your life and when He presents you with an opportunity to work for Him, be ready to walk through that door in Faith.
My greatest prayer for Living Faith Fellowship is to see people committed and faithful to the work of the Lord. Let’s build a church, with the Lord’s help, that will not only make the devil mad, but bring glory and honor unto our Savior, Jesus Christ!”
