“If it is encouraging, let him encourage; If it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously.” Romans 12:8 (NIV)

Living Faith Fellowship’s local mission project for July, August & September 2013 was to help contribute to our local Southeast Gwinnett Coop .  The Southeast Gwinnett Coop is a non-profit organization created to support those in our local community in need of food and financial assistance with utilities and medication.  This ministry is operated 100% through donations and is staffed by volunteers.  Each month, they serve 400-500 families, giving approximately 27,000 cans of food and $18,000 in financial assistance.  They screen each family applying for assistance and are careful to minister to the needs of people, without allowing people to abuse the generosity of the contributors or the community resources.  Living Faith Fellowship’s goal was to supply $600.00 in community financial assistance.  Not only did we meet our goal, but we exceeded our goal and was able to raise $1,000.00 to contribute to this ministry!
